Change in progress for the Spanish driver, who will race with the Past Racing Fiesta from the Rally Portugal

Surprising car change for Pepe López, the multiple Spanish champion fresh from the podiums won in Monte Carlo and Croatia, he will abandon the Skoda Fabia RS rally2 to switch to the Ford Fiesta rally2.

A change in progress arrived due to the sudden breakdown of the partnership between Mapo Motorsport and Terra Training, thus leaving the Spanish crew on foot. The five-time Spanish champion and his entourage had to work hard to find a team that could welcome the winners of the WRC2 Challenge to Monte Carlo.

I can announce that the 2024 program in WRC2 will continue” – declared the driver from Madrid – “The season started very well with the podiums achieved in Monte Carlo and Croatia, we are convinced that we will continue to do well. We have reached an agreement with Past Racing, the Team shares my values and those of my co-driver. For me it will be the first time with Ford, a brand with which I have never raced. I have high hopes for this project

At the moment the WRC2 program is being defined, most likely after the Rally Portugal, the Spanish driver will race in Sardinia.
