37 crews will compete in Mexico on a route of approximately 200 kilometers timed.

Representing Italy in the Rally Nations in Mexico this weekend in Leon and Guanajuato will be Alberto Battistolli and Simone Scattolin in a Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IX, along with Andrea Mabellini and Virginia Lenzi in a Skoda Fabia rally2 evo. Both teams are returning to the challenging gravel roads of Mexico after an early retirement in the 2022 edition.

The Mexican rally, aside from being part of the Rally of Nations, counts towards both the Mexican Championship and the NACAM. It features 37 crews competing for victory over an almost 200-kilometer timed route.

Notable participants include Norwegian Mads Ostberg (Skoda Fabia rally2), Finnish driver Harri Rovanpera, Swedish competitor Dennis Radstrom (Toyota Yaris GR), and the former 1994 world champion Didier Auriol. Among the entrants, Julien Ingrassia stands out; the former co-driver of Sébastien Ogier is competing in his fifth race as a driver. Also present are Spanish driver Nil Solans and British competitors Max McRae and Tom William. Among the local entrants are drivers like Ricardo Cordero in a Citroen C3 rally2, Alejandro Mauro Sanchez in a Skoda Fabia rally2, and Juan Carlos Peralta.

The race kicks off on Friday, February 23, with a double pass through the city stage in Guanajuato, followed by the historic stages of the World Rally Mexico, including Ortega, Las Minas, Las Dunas, and El Brinco, spread over the following two days.
